Illaweena Reservoir is situated 28 km south of Brisbane, and it’s water supply is a chlorinated feed from Mount Crosby. WestWater were contracted to Design, Construct & Install a complete Sodium Hypochlorite dosing plant complete with a loading apron. The purpose of the dosing system was to breakpoint chlorinate the water to remove all traces of ammonia and leave a free chlorine residual before it left the reservoir for distribution.
WestWater successfully refurbished the existing building and performed all required civils works within the desired time frame and on budget, WestWater Enterprises were working with a joint alliance between Tenix & Logan Water Alliance.
