WestWater have successfully won a tender with the Water Corporation for installation of valve headworks and underground services at the Denham Water Treatment Plant.

WestWater initially completed upgrades to the RO and Filtration systems at the Denham WTP in 2021, however at the time of construction there was a “no-dig” direction in place, therefore temporary above ground pipework and conduits were installed to ensure the plant can remain operational.

Now that the “no-dig” direction has been lifted, WestWater will return to site to install permanent underground pipework and conduits for the chlorine dose line, Raw Water Tank inlet pipework and valving, and all associated electrical and communications connections.

All aspects of the design will be completed in accordance with Water Corporation design standards and Australian Standards.

The project is expected to reach Practical Completion by May 2026.
