The community of Nannup in Western Australia’s south is strongly opposed to the storage and use of chemicals throughout their town. Due to the need to chlorinate their drinking water a solution had to be found.
The safest and simplest solution is Electro chlorination where a salt solution is used with an electrical cell to produce a 0.8% chlorine solution. WWE designed and constructed this proven system in a transportable building and installed it along with a chemical storage tank, bund and dosing system on site. This system eliminates the need to transport chemicals to site as the only consumable is table salt and electricity.
