The Water Corporation of Western Australia has an extremely large supply grid across the metropolitan area in Perth. Due to the great distance of piping infrastructure and varying water demands large reservoirs are required around Perth to store/supply on demand quality drinking water. Chlorine “top up” dosing is often required at such reservoirs.
WestWater designed manufactured installed and commissioned this chemical storage and dosing system for the reservoir at Carabooda in Perth’s North. The complex part of this project is the buildings internal bund of which is completely sunken into the ground and covered with FRP grating for a floor. This enables the operator’s walk in from the loading bay straight onto the bund with the needs for any steps or ladders.
