Westwater proudly announces that William Hunt from our Queensland office has been awarded the Smart Employment Solutions Apprentice Award in the category “2nd Year Electrical Apprentice Of The Year 2022”.  The award ceremony was held at a prestigious event in Loganholme on Wednesday 15th February 2023.

Smart Employment Solutions is a specialist organisation with a mission to provide education, training, and on-the-job skills through Apprenticeships & Traineeships.  Their focus is to provide young people the opportunity to get a nationally recognised qualification.  Through this process they provide services to the apprentice from recruitment to payroll, work cover and superannuation, including coordinating their college learning and management of placement with host employers to train under.

The annual Apprentice Awards event is designed to give acknowledgement to the outstanding achievements of the apprentices within the Smart Employment Solutions organisation.  All apprentices, totalling almost 200 individuals, are given performance reviews every 3 months and these reviews are integral in the selection process for determining the category winners. Attendance, college achievement and overall work performance are further criteria that have been considered in selecting the winners.
