WestWater have successfully won a tender with Pensar Construction Group for the design and construction of a new chlorine dosing system for TasWater at the Orford Water Treatment Plant in Tasmania.

The upgrade works will include the design, supply, fabrication, delivery, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of a new chlorine gas dosing system to supplement the existing chlorine dosing system on site. The new system will deliver chlorine to an existing post-treatment injection point and to a new pre-oxidation injection point.

All aspects of the works will be completed in accordance with TasWater’s design standards and Australian Standards.

The project is expected to reach Practical Completion by February 2026
