Project Announcement – FSA Dosing Ventilation Upgrade

WestWater have successfully won a tender with the Water Corporation for the design and construction of ventilation systems for the Fluorosilicic Acid (FSA) Dosing Cabinets at both Harris Dam and Picton WTP, located in the South West region of Western Australia.

Ventilating the FSA Dosing Cabinets reduces risks of exposure to hazardous and corrosive fumes.

The work to be completed at the Harris Dam site will include modifications to separate the dosing cabinet into duty/standby sections and installation of a ventilation system to ventilate the dose cabinet and room. The ventilation system exhaust will be discharged to a safe location outside of the FSA building.

The same work will be completed at the Picton WTP site, including dose cabinet modifications that will ensure cross flow of air through the dose cabinet sections.

All aspects of the works will be completed in accordance with the Contract, relevant design standards, and Australian Standards.

The project is expected to reach Practical Completion by late 2025.
