WestWater have successfully won a tender with the Water Corporation for the Design & Construction of an Emergency Ultraviolet Disinfection System in the form of a transportable packaged plant that will initially be located at Halls Creek Bore 4/92.
The new UV Disinfection System that WestWater will be installing will be housed in a 20 foot insulated sea container. It will comprise of a USEPA validated UV system and control panel manufactured by atgUV Technology, and Stainless Steel inlet / outlet pipework with a Mag Flow meter and motorised valves. The complete system will be controlled by a PLC control panel with a colour operation interface panel.
All aspects of the modular UV Disinfection System will be designed, constructed, installed and commissioned in accordance with the Contract, Water Corporation Standards and Australian Standards.
The project is expected to reach Practical Completion by July 2019.
