WestWater recently completed a project converting Unity Water’s run down Sodium Hypochlorite dosing system to a Chlorine Gas facility at Clear Mountain Reservoir, Cashmere (approximately 30km north of the Brisbane CBD).
The project involved complete gutting of the existing building and reinvigorating it to become a much neater and safer solution for disinfection. Included was also remodeling of the water quality monitoring building and the addition of new chlorination switchboard and RTU.
The site now has the capacity store 4 x 70kg Chlorine cylinders and safely breakpoint chlorinate assuring quality water distribution to public patrons.
