In 2022-2023 WestWater completed the design, manufacture, supply and commission of turnkey water quality analyser skids and panels. An upgrade of a water treatment plant located approximately 35km north-west of Hobart, Tasmania, had the requirement for a wide range of water analysing instrumentation across the entire treatment process. From the raw water stage through to final client distribution, the instrumentation provided by WestWater will be monitoring the following parameters:
- pH
- Turbidity
- Colour
- UVT
- Free Chlorine
- Conductivity
- Fluoride
- Dissolved Ozone
- Oxygen
- Dew Point
The intent of WestWater’s involvement is to provide the instrumentation in fully factory tested, plug and play skids or panels depending on the quantity of equipment for each application. There are 5 x skids supplied in electrical style outdoor cubicles equipped with 5 analysers, duty/standby sample pumps, flow indication, auxiliary valving/piping, local power distribution and control cubicles. In addition, there are 19 standalone outdoor panels housing singular water analysers positioned at various locations throughout the plant.
